Embed Ethical Governance. Treat responsible AI as part of your compliance. Create values-based guidelines, accountability feedback loops, and regular audits that align agentic behaviors with institutional principles. Governance must be proactive and upstream.
Measure. Devise or adopt systems to measure output within the area that AI has been implemented within your organization. Compare measurements from quarter-to-quarter and year-on-year to evaluate performance and investment.

The output is fast and polished, but leadership insists on human review for tone, authenticity, and alignment with the organization's positioning to prevent narrative drift. Or consider a company facing geopolitical supply-chain volatility. Agentic AI can rapidly model dozens of disruption scenarios, developing optimal rerouting options in minutes. However, leadership overrides the top recommendation as it does not take into consideration commitments with key partners built over years. Human insight will always preserve credibility and long-term strategy that, currently, pure AI, may sacrifice.
